INT. OBSERVATORY — NIGHT

A sea of stars. MAYA waits beside the telescope, a letter folded in her hand.

MAYA

I thought I’d know what to say when I got here.

She opens the letter. Then looks up.

Love this quiet moment. Could we stay here a little longer before she speaks?

A private conversation with the writer’s team
Illustrative screenplay and reader note.

No more searching email threads to work out who said what about which draft.

01

Choose who gets to read it.

Upload your screenplay PDF and invite the people you choose. Give each reader a copy watermarked with their name. Set an expiry or withdraw access when you need to.

02

Bring the feedback together.

Get notes on the whole script, a page or a highlighted passage. Readers see their own conversations with you, so everyone’s feedback stays private.

03

Keep each draft’s feedback in context.

Decide which revisions are available to read, while keeping earlier notes attached to the version they refer to.

A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS

Before you share.
Before you read.

Start with the writer’s personal invitation. It’s tied to the email address they invited.

Need help? Contact support. For an invitation or access to another draft, contact the writer.

Do readers need an account?

Readers can sign in with an account using their invited email address. Email-code access without an account is being tested with a limited group during the private pilot. If it isn’t available to you, choose “Sign in with an account”.

Who can see a reader’s feedback?

The reader, the writer who uploaded the script and its authorised managers can see that reader’s notes and replies. Other readers cannot see those conversations or who else has been invited.

Can readers download their copy?

Yes. Reading copies carry a personal watermark by default; the writer or a manager can choose one shared watermark instead.

Withdrawing access stops future viewing and downloads through ScriptShare. It cannot recall copies already downloaded or prevent someone photographing a screen.

Why did I receive an email code?

A code is sent only when someone opens your personal invitation and selects “Email me a code”. It goes to your invited address from invites@mail.scriptshare.co.

The eight-digit code expires after ten minutes and can be used once. Enter it only on app.scriptshare.co. If you didn’t request it, ignore the email and don’t share the code.

These are access emails, with no screenplay text or attachments. ScriptShare does not send marketing emails or newsletters. For help with an unexpected email, contact support@scriptshare.co; please don’t send your code or screenplay.
